Motor - Industry standard,
  off-the-shelf.  NEMA electric or air motors are supplied with all ACUMIX
  Model AQ, AQG, AQX, AQD & Model AQW mixers ensuring maximum reliability
  and ease of replacement.  
  Drive - Low Speed Gear (reduced)
  driven designs are available to achieve a range of speeds to accommodate and
  adapt to the required process conditions.  Gearbox designed to achieve a
  minimum of 100,000 hours (11.41 years) L10 bearing life.  If you don't
  know your exact mixer service statistical bearing life it
  doesn't how well your gears are constructed as once your bearings fail your
  gearing is useless.  All gear drives are designed with a minimum AGMA
  service factor of 1.5 (moderate shock) based upon the prior more stringent
  gear standards ensuring your equipment will last like the equipment it
  replaced.  A minimum of 96% gear efficiency (burries inefficient worm
  gear designs) with no gear ratio exceeding a 7:1 reduction.  Supplied
  with either commercial grade or food grade lubricants upon
  request.    
  Mounting options (open tank) - Swivel
  Mounted Clamp or Cup-Plate and Fixed mounted plate or angular
  offset angle riser designs and Sanitary Ferrule Food Grade are
  available utilizing proper mixer orientation above the  open tank. 
       
  Mounting options (closed tank) -
  ACUMIX offers a broad range of closed tank options which include: hermetically
  sealed base-plate designs, sanitary ferrule or flanged low pressure seals,
  standard low-pressure stuffing box, v-ring or lip seal, and a vast array of
  mechanical seal designs (single dry running,  double wet or dry running,
  pharmaceutical seals, etc.).  
  Shaft Lengths - ACUMIX can
  provide a number of shaft diameter and length options. The shaft can be
  designed to fit your application using rigid and removable flanged coupling
  designs.  
  Impellers - ACUMIX mixing
  expertise includes the use of impeller designs for low shear (high flow)
  blending, slurry suspension (or make-down), gas dispersion, high shear
  dissolving and dispersing, close clearance collapsible designs, and viscous
  mixing.
